Place & story
The surviving walls
The county heritage account describes three partial walls of the old church, with the eastern gable surviving to about five metres. A splayed window there lit the altar. An Irish yew grows inside the former church, reached by a grass-covered lane. [2]
Planning its conservation
In 2021, Wicklow County Council obtained Community Monuments Fund support for a conservation management plan covering the church and graveyard. The project examined the site and identified measures needed to protect the vulnerable ruins. [2]
