Place & story
The Village Pantry
Reporting its October 2015 meeting in Rathdangan, Wicklow Uplands Council described the Village Pantry as a tea room run by twenty-five volunteers. It sold local crafts and produce and received daily shopping deliveries from a supermarket in Baltinglass. The council recorded it as a community meeting place. [2]
Plans for the hall
Wicklow County Council granted permission in March 2025 for an extension to Rathdangan Community Hall. The proposal combined additional hall space and storage with upgraded toilets and internal improvements. It concerned the existing 166-square-metre building. [3]
