Place & story
The parochial school
The old schoolhouse dates from around 1850 and was built in association with the nearby Church of Ireland church. Its pointed doorways, narrow lancet windows and projecting chimneys give it a distinctive Gothic Revival appearance. The architectural survey recorded surviving lattice windows alongside later alterations and its conversion to a private house. [2]
