Place & story

An early nineteenth-century building

The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage dates the Church of Ireland building to 1825–28. It consists of a three-bay hall with a western tower; a vestry adjoins its south-eastern corner. Alterations were made around 1995. [2]

Tower and windows

The tower has battlements and circular blind openings near its top. Pointed windows give the church a Gothic character, while stained glass survives in the eastern window. The graveyard contains nineteenth- and twentieth-century memorials, enclosed by stone walls. [2]
