Place & story
Church and tower
Built in 1766, Mount Talbot Church has a three-bay nave and a three-stage western tower topped by a balustrade. Pointed windows contrast with the rounded entrance and the divided semicircular windows high in the tower. The architectural survey recorded it as derelict in 2003. [2]
The graveyard
Carved grave markers surround the church, with a crypt to the east and a mausoleum identified by the survey with Lady Talbot. Stone gate piers and wrought-iron gates mark the boundary. [2]
