Place & story
A century of school games
Moneynick was among the South West Antrim schools that entered the new schools league in 1924. Writing in 2024, Peadar McCann marked that century of participation as the school reached national award finals for promoting Gaelic games and culture and for the small-school category. [2]
Sharing classes and memories
Moneynick and nearby Duneane Primary School developed a long-running shared-education partnership, with classes taking place in both schools. Moneynick also announced an oral-history project in September 2025, inviting older relatives, former pupils and neighbours to monthly workshops with its Primary 4/5 class. The first planned topic was memories of school. [3] [4]
